I purchased 6 Porterhouse steaks on Saturday May 9th, 2026 for Sunday Mother's Day meal. 2 hours before the meal, I pull the steaks out to discover they were spoiled. I had asked for fresh cut 3/4" steak and they must have pulled something that was too old. The steaks looked fresh until I opened the package and started to take them out. Where the steaks overlapped in the package they were dark brown and smelled awful. They were even slimy around some of the bone area. I was told they were going to cut me the steaks I requested but they obviously pulled something that had already been cut and packed some time ago. I called and they readily offered a refund or replacement which I appreciated. I still wanted the steaks so I opted for a replacement. Butcher brought the steaks out and had me look them over to make sure they looked good. I was happy even though this was quite an inconvenience. Almost messed up my Mother's Day meal. Luckily I found a some steaks at Harris Teeter although they were not what I wanted. After I left, I looked the steaks over closely and compared to my receipt. I paid $110.00 for my steaks originally and the ones they replaced were only valued at $9

My family and I are on a road trip from VA to CA. A friend recommended this BBQ spot, and we must say it did not disappoint. As a family of 5, we figured we could eat the seven meat combo, but we were sadly mistaken. Everything was delicious! Customer service was great! Luis and Rylan made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our first experience, and we appreciate it. If we are ever in the area, we will 100% be back.

This is the place to go when you want meats. We always go here to buy the full Ribeye and have them cut it for us. The steaks are always so delish!

This is a meat market with an on-site butcher and fresh cuts. I’m really happy to have found this place—it’s only about a 30-minute drive from my home in Charlotte and absolutely worth it. I was finally able to get bacon with the skin on (10lb box in picture), something I’ve been searching for for a while. They also offer meat bundles, which are a great value. Everything we bought was fresh and high quality. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed the first time I visited this place to buy meat. The experience was good, very good quality, but on my second visit, a total disappointment. I felt cheated when I ordered beef ribs and they gave me pieces of ribs, apparently they were leftovers from other cuts (I will put some photos to confirm this). It is a shame that places like this have no respect for their customers.
